i personally felt that this novel is meant to tell the day in the life of people in a community, and what happens to them all, even when tragedy strikes, it all remains very social. many of the characters in this felt like a mirrorball, and it was really interesting to have all their thoughts put out into the air but know that these are simply ✨thoughts✨. Also, this is my first Virginia Woolf novel, and her writing style is very unique; almost like a constant poem :)

My first classic concerning English literature and I really enjoyed it! The vocabulary was chosen very wisely and the sentence structure and language were not too complex in my opinion. I did not completely understand the relations between all of the characters though.
