Wow - read this in one night - really wonderful and beautifully written - very impressive
I really appreciated the way this was written, from Gemma's perspective only. And the ending was beautiful, what a way to deal with the emotions.
Crazy that we’re not supposed to like him…but you end up thinking he’s not so bad. Not only does Lucy take you on Gemma’s journey, but puts you in Gemma’s mindset so well it’s almost like you go through it too

Mi-a dat un pic din aceeaşi emoţie, pe care mi-o oferă romanele lui Nicholas Sparks, spre final. E o carte care te face să reflectezi asupra lucrurilor mici din jur, care pot fi cele mai importante.

What did I just read...I didn't know whether to love Ty or despise him... Alright, i love him. If only he could be normal and ask Gemma out instead of kidnapping her and freaking her out. Maybe they would have lived happily ever after. With all the money he had to build that house and buy all that stuff they probably would.
Really I'd give this a 2.5 but since I did want to know what was going to happen in the end, I'll give it a 3.
I absolutely enjoyed this book in every aspect! The fact that Lucy Christopher wrote the perspective in a second person nature is so interesting and pulled me in from the start. Gemma is a character that most teenagers can relate to especially teenage girls. Disagreeing with her parents and seeking shelter within an attractive older man is something that is so common. The mysterious aspect of her capture also pulled me in because I wanted to keep reading in the hopes of more secrets about him being spilt to the reader. The setting is also interesting as it is out of the box and not many people would think to put these two characters in the Australian desert. I actually reread this book multiple times because every time there is new information that I end of finding. This book is a great read for anyone and I would highly recommend to any reader.
Increíble, original, geniales personajes. El final decepcionante, pero por motivos personales. Es decir, acaba como tiene que hacerlo, pese a que fastidie.
