A promising start of a new series.
I'm not super thrilled, but I would definitely read the next installment if I stumbled across it.

I like Kele Moon´s books but not this one. It was like a prequel to a novel about the other wolfs in this book. And the only reason is to build up hype for the next book.

Brandi is cool in the beginning strong character that is determined to survive. But after the chase, her strong character slowly became obsessed whit a man. It was like she was so burned by infidelity of her ex, that she is willing to do anything for a man who promises her that he sees only her. And will never look at other women
SpoilerIn the end she is willing tor through a way here grandmother jewelry because Jason feels threatened by her success. And also the furniture she has been saving for, and making her place her one. No not cool, not cool at all.

In the beginning of the book we learn about her family she has 2 dads, a mom and a brother. Her friend thinks she is missing and did not contact any of them. I don´t by that. And after she talks to her friend her family and friends is not mention again. I think here brother at least would try to get a hold of Brandi, because of how he was described

Examples of what I did not like is:
If you are asked where do you live? Is the answer 2 hours from here. No, you name the town and than ad the distend. Plus she does not know exactly where she is. If you live in the middle of the country, 2 hours from here can be so many places.

I wanted to like this book so much, but I could not. And the only reason I finished the book is because I bought it. If I had borrowed a book in the library, I would never have finished it.

I haven´t read book by Laurann Dohner before and if her book are like this one I don´t think I will.

I have to say I wasn’t really sure what I was getting into. I am a huge Laurann fan; one clicking this baby was a must.

Normally I don’t like the kind of romances where the heroine falls for the hero so fast.
But you can tell with Brandi that she was kind of living in limbo after her divorce.
Being kidnapped and almost killed really puts things into perspective and she goes with the flow. Sure she is freaked out I think that’s what I like best about her character she was freaked out but she was level headed.

I kind of like that Jason went on pure instinct when it comes to Brandi, his thoughts and head don’t factor. And he does deal with the consequences after the fact.
I kinda loved that about him, I also kind of loved his pack and how they are all a little alpha but come from a good place.

I can’t wait to see more of this series. I think the 2 authors really bring a new and fresh series to life.

Loved the narration as well, it was a first for me by this narrator and she does a great job.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Not very good. I usually live laurann dohner’s books, but this one didn’t work for me. It felt too rushed and I didn’t connect with any of the characters.
