As someone with religious trauma myself, I was super anxious through the middle of the book. I had to stop it a few times because it felt too real. But I loved the characters and I’m so happy with how it ended. It is a book that inspires hope in a future where you can be you and love who you love.

Oh my goodness. This book was absolutely amazing. I listened to it in one day! It was difficult at first with all the Christian talk because I have a bad past with Christians/Christianity, but I pushed through and I'm so happy I did. This was such a beautiful love story, but more so an amazing story of a girl learning about herself, accepting herself, and realizing that she lived in a cult. This is definitely one of my favorite reads of 2025. I highly recommend.
