Second read through - highlighted the physical copy this time.

A MUST READ BOOK. Actually, made me feel inspired to organize for social justice in a connective and comprehensive way, rather than through a single issue lens. All struggles are tied to each other and the root of most global struggles is capitalism and anti-Black racism, which then helps explain a number of other social issues.

Of course anything Angela Davis says is worth attending to, but this collection was speeches that don’t elucidate much behind the theory. I had hoped it was more of a critical edition

Full of many insightful takes on various human rights issues and protests. Only downside is that the book is a collection of interviews and speeches so sometimes information is repeated.
