Me habían dicho que al tener muchos personajes podrías liarte un poco entre ellos, pero yo la verdad es que no he tenido ningún problema con ello.

After Adichie & Obioma, I have been wary of picking up any book set in Nigeria for the heaviness they bring to my life once the novel is done. It takes me days to get back to a lighter state.
Onuzo's novel just turns that setup of pathos & hopelessness and delivers a fun caper of a 'family-of-sorts' of quirky individuals, who stay united despite their varied morals, ideals and ambitions.

Loved the prose, the crisp sentences conveying so much in a few words.

Now onto all her other works.
