I did like this nearly as much as the first in this series but I definitely love the characters in this series enough to keep going in this series.

Silly me! I didn't look at my reading list and started this series with this book instead of the first. But thankfully it was easy to deduce (LOL) the bones of what had happened in Charlotte's past.
It was a good read. Very enjoyable even though the amount of characters was extensive. I found myself re-listening to parts to get all the important bits.
I'll definitely be reading book 1.

Enjoyed this - found it a touch slower going than the last one. Find the details and the symmetry with the original Holmes fascinating.

Much like the first book in the series, I found A Conspiracy in Belgravia both wildly entertaining and wildly confusing. I still don't have a firm grasp of exactly what happened by the end, and may need a re-read to fully understand who double crossed whom and when! The characters are interesting and compelling, and I always love understanding Charlotte Holmes' inferences and how she's able to deduce certain facts about others.
