Ok Layne Fargo, I was not aware of your game 👏🏼👏🏼 this has been sitting on my shelves for what feels like years and it wasn’t about halfway through that I realized this is the same author of THE FAVORITES, another banger from this year. Fargo’s writing is so quick-paced and sharp, it’s hard not to get sucked into her novels. I picked this up after getting ghosted a few years back when I was in need of some badass feminist rage lit, and even today, it did not disappoint.
