Inhaled it like the first one. Again predicted the ending - but the plot twists along the way kept me intrigued as hell. This series is very addictive, and I’m enjoying the ride.

I’m still processing how I feel about this book. I liked it, but it was so much longer than it needed to be and Violet and Xaden made me so frustrated. But that ending!!! I’m definitely going to read Onyx Storm to find out what happens next.
I can see why people don't feel this is as strong as the first book in the series - some things felt rushed and not explained well. It still made me cry at the end, and I'm still pretty invested on how it all plays out. There were some nutty twists and turns, and I'm more than attached to a lot of the key players. Just wish there was a little more clarity on some plot points. Hopefully there is more time taken with the next book in the series. ♥
