Aburrido.

After years of hearing about the motivational speaker from late night infomercials, I had the pleasure of listening to Tim Ferriss (one of my favorite people) interview Tony Robbins. Not only was he not at all like I thought, but I felt completely invigorated by his message. I picked up Awaken The Giant Within at a pivotal time in my business and for me personally. It normally takes me only a few days to a week to finish a 500 page book but this was so actionable and dense that it took me 9 months. Robbins explained clearly so many lessons I've already learned about habits, self-perception, and human nature and raised my awareness and understanding to the next level. My life and experience is vastly improved and I credit this book for good portion of this fundamental shift.

If you want to shake up your life and really go after what you really want with joy and a laser focus, this is the book is for you.

In a word? Meta-cognition. Don't get me wrong, there are some nuggets and interesting heuristics, but it's massively redundant and a slog to get through 500 pages of anecdotes mixed with sales pitches.

Absolutely my favorite book of all time! Use NLP (or NAC) to have the life you want to have. Tony Robbins is one of the greatest life coaches of all time and he continues to help people take control of their destiny. This book changed my life, the way I pursue my dreams, the way I perceive people. I have read this over and over and continue to refer to it regularly.
