Becca is one of my favorite authors, and so to read my favorite genre was a treat!
Merciless kings was full of twist and turns that kept me intrigued and wanting more. I was not ready for the end. Seriously not ready.
I loved the multiple pov with all the main characters! It added an such great understanding and insight into the characters. Still left me needing the next book.!

That cliffhanger!
Ahh, I'm so intrigued where this story is headed. There is nothing I love more than a story that keeps you guessing what's going to happen next, and Merciless Kings does that with every page. There are so many secrets and unknowns around every corner, and I need answers! The boneyard kings will make you swoon. I instantly fell in love with Saint, but I have a feeling by the end of this series I'll want them all! Everly is the perfect match for all three guys. This is a bit of a slow burn romance, but there is definitely some spice. I can already tell their are going to be explosive together in all the best ways. That cliffhanger, though! I'm diving into book 2 immediately because my heart can't handle it.

Welp another enemies to lovers reverse harem books to add to my goodreads list. This book was decently good. The plot was intriguing and kept my interest. The characters are well written. The spice was a little lacking, it was kinda a slow burn with lotsssss of teasing, but in a good way.
The only complaint I have, is I wish whenever the male characters have that moment of completely falling for the female main character, I wish we got more of a description why. Like I understand kinda the love at first sight, oh there is something different about this one, blah blah. But reading a book we don't get to see the characters, and the looks and feel that moment. And sometimes I feel like books lack more description of this moment. It's like "I saw her, she was different, I can't explain how I feel". Like instead I wish we got more of "the way she smiled warmed my heart" or "the passion she showed in her classes/work/job". Just something more than, I saw her and knew she had to be mine.
But all in all, I'm invested in the story and the characters! Onto the next book!

The story is interesting, if very short. The writing needs a good polish—so many echos and independently moving body parts. The time jumps were confusing as hell, especially in audio. They also felt unnecessary.
