Iā€™ve been looking for a book that reads like a studio ghibli movie and this is it, albeit perhaps more mature.
This book is perfect, being funny, heartwarming, and tearjerking all at once.
Thereā€™s so much wisdom to gather from the pages of this book:
You live one life, make it a life worth living
Donā€™t spend time regretting things
Treat others with kindness
Always find reasons to be happy
Make memories with the people you love
and although sometimes these things are too obvious to be considered wisdom, I find that the exact reason people forget them, including myself.

ā€œThis was our final journey.
On our last journey, let's see all kinds of amazing things. Let's spend our time taking in as many wonderful sights as we can.
That's what I had pledged yesterday, when we set off.
And what incredible sights we saw.ā€

It started all funny and goofy in my opinion... and then there was this moment I needed to cry. The love between cat and man is just so well written and described in this book and story. Just knowing how deep a cats loyalty can go to their person is amazing.
