I really wanted to enjoy this as much as I did with book 1. Unfortunately, it fell short.

K. Bromberg seems to focus more on Easton's issues instead of giving Scout some screen time as well, even though she has the massive problem with her father - which I was so ready for as an emotional downpour but that was skipped over.

There's a lot that happens in The Catch and it really could have been made into a series with how much was thrown into one book. It was very back and forth between each new reveal or issue but through it all there was alway Easton and Scout. Together.

I wanted more from The Catch. I wanted my feelings to be pulled out from deep within my core. The Catch is enjoyable but not my favourite by K. Bromberg.

Holy cliffhangers! Need the next book now!
funny lighthearted relaxing fast-paced

Easton and Scout’s witty banter and explosive chemistry made this sports romance a rabbit hole I was more than happy to fall down. I love a good cliffhanger and this ending had me one clicking book two the moment I finished.

K. Bromberg hit it out of the park. Easton and Scout’s complicated love story gave me all the feels. I laughed. I cried. I was emotionally invested in the characters and their journey and I didn’t want it to end.

This is one of my favorite books!! Such an amazing story about a rocky past and how 2 people can work through things. Steamy and sweet at all the right times.

An amazing conclusion to a fantastic story. I Loved it so much I had to buy it after I borrowed it!

4.5. I wish I would have just read it one sitting. I got into the characters then out because I had to pause. I loved how hard Easton fights for scout. Their whole dynamic was the cheesy romance I needed.

So freaking good.

I was hooked on Scout and Easton's story and couldn't wait for THE CATCH.  K. Bromberg didn't disappoint with this story.

Picking up right where THE PLAYER ended, Scout and Easton were left to navigate through the lies and betrayal at the hand of the Aces and some they didn't expect.  It was easy for either of them, but what we quickly found was a couple who already knew they were stronger together and they needed to weather all the bad stuff together.  They definitely took a path I wasn't expecting, but in the end, you knew that every obstacle that stood in their way made both of them more determined to make it work.

There were definitely moments that had me reaching for a Kleenex, but this second book was all about Scout and Easton learning what's important in life.  What meant the most to each of them and how to fight for it.  So while there were those Kleenex moments, they definitely weren't the kind that I was expecting (and that made me happy).

K. Bromberg knocked this duet out of the park.  It's started out angsty, but it ended perfectly while still having all those sexy moments that I've come to expect.  It was a pleasure to meet Scout and Easton, follow their relationship and to add another set of books from this author that I can't do without.
