This in a book in the Myron Boltair series, of which I have read a few of the books. My intention was to start with the first book and read them from the start. I mistakenly thought this was the first book but didn't stop reading it once I realized it wasn't because Harlan Coben's books are really enjoyable. Plot is usually the same in this Boltair series. Myron, a sports agent and his psychotic preppy super rich friend, Win, accept a new client. After that there's either a kidnapping, murder, disappearance, wrong accusation, etc. of their client and they must solve the mystery.

Myron Bolitar ermittelt diesmal im Golfumfeld. Und im Familienumfeld - seines besten Freundes Win.

Wieder recht spannend, lustig... Coben scheint vergessen zu haben, dass Bolitar bereits in den ersten Bänden einen Golfer als Kunden hat. Ts ts.

Fun read. Some nice twists throughout. A little cliche in some of the dialogue and descriptions, but still enjoyable.

Enjoyable but I might need a little break from Myron Bolitar. These books are great for long car trips, however.

Book was released in 97 and there are just some things I can't let slide on this one. Mens attitudes towards women is a big one. A couple of minor things where I noticed I was cringing and making funny faces.

All the smartarse-ness was just a tad too much. Besides I loathe golf. Golf is not a sport it's like fishing.

I'll move to HC newer stuff.

Eh, getting a little repetitive but it was nice that Myron didn't TOTALLY get his ass kicked without Wyn around to save him.
