I Love Halsey As A Artist And It Was No Exception I Would Pick Up Her Poetry Collection

The Poems Were Very Well Written And Just Beautiful And I Loved Them

A beautiful woman is a car crash.
Shiny asphalt and smoking rubber.
Melted plastic and metal edges.
Glimmering glass shrapnel iridescence scattered across the road.

As someone who’s been a fan of Halsey since Room 93, I Would Leave Me If I Could was a special read. Halsey has long been one of my favorite artists, and diving into this collection felt like peeling back another layer of the voice I’ve admired for years.

Though poetry isn’t a genre I normally read, so I can’t compare it to other works in the same space. However, this book pulled me in completely. Much like Halsey's music, the writing is raw, intimate, and unfiltered. It’s filled with emotional weight and self-reflection, offering glimpses into experiences that echo the vulnerability found in their lyrics.

What made it even more special were the subtle (and not-so-subtle) nods to past songs, and even some that hadn’t been released at the time of publication. It feels like a companion piece to their discography—amplifying and enriching the music with deeper personal context.

With my fourth Halsey concert coming up on Monday, I’m reminded again why they remain one of the most compelling artists. Their performances are unmatched, and this book only solidifies that artistry in another form.

Cant rate this its someone experience and expression of their life

Love LOVE loved this collection of poetry from Halsey. She is an incredibly talented individual and I think there's so much relatability in this. Her topics cover everything from bipolar disorder, bisexuality, sexuality and more.

I am hoping she eventually puts out another collection! 4/5 stars!
