I really enjoyed this book. This is a dark story, so please check the trigger and content warnings before reading. This book is not for everyone, but if you like a little taboo and a morally grey/black character, you might enjoy this. The story and character development was amazing. Kept me on the edge and I just had to keep reading. I can’t wait for book 2 to come out.

This is a good read if you're into dark/ forbidden romance. The MMC reminds me of Tate from AHS personality wise but a mute.. This is on the taboo side with adoptive siblings.

I would look up the triggers before reading this book, this book isn't for the faint of hearts.

Now, is Malachi actually batshit crazy clinically insane, or is he just in love🥰🥰😂

Olivia and Malachi are delulu, but I liked this😂

✨️(Please read the trigger warnings)✨️

Quotes:
📕If a masked stranger presses a screwdriver to your throat and tells you to run, what do you do?

📕Go kiss your future husband, little sister. And when you do, you better think about me and all the ways I’ll fuck you in his blood.

📕He broke Parker’s legs with his bat and shoved the handle of the bat down one of the other’s throats, dislocating their jaw and making them vomit blood.

📕Ridiculous—I don’t want to kill her; I want to crush her. There’s a difference.

📕No one could ever make her feel the way I do. Ever. And if they do, I’ll kill them.

Joe Arden is a little TOO good at these types of characters. It's disconcerting.

Also... just no. Dark is one thing. This is just... gross.
