This book left me in a state of confusion for a lack of better words. The dark romance really came out strong in this one, definitely not for weak of heart.
Whilst it initially gave me an ick with the plot line being what it is, it definitely is a book I wouldn't mind reading it again. The smut was heavy in this one, really playing into the dark romance aspect of it - and because I read these books on Kindle, I definitely didn't realise that there was TWs until afterwards.

Solid book, really great smut with a fucked up storyline.

Never in my life have I ever read a taboo romance as dark as this one. Malachi reeeaaallyyy walks a very thin line the whole book what affects consent and violence, but overall the book delivers just what it’s promising;)

Actually, I am disappointed in this book. Because I was expecting a lot and I enjoyed the initial plot BUT there was too less of a story for such strong themes. I feel like we only see the explicit parts and I'm disappointed because we only focus on it instead of continuing the story. The whole plot was interesting and their psychology was important to explore but I felt like what we explored was more of their sexual relationship than their traumas and bonds. So I hope it gets better with the storyline and their psychology in the second tome.
