Wow. I need a moment to collect myself—that was intense.

This book is the very definition of a dark romance. If Haunting Adeline walked, Little Stranger soared. This story grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go. It’s gritty, twisted, and completely unrelenting in the best (and worst?) way.
You know that phrase going around—“delete my Kindle (or Goodreads) when I die”? It’s because of books like this.

Let me say this loud for the people in the back: READ. THE. TRIGGER. WARNINGS. They're there for a reason, and [a:Leigh Rivers|40680938|Leigh Rivers|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1702421181p2/40680938.jpg] does not hold back.

The audiobook? Flawless. [a:Joe Arden|29830382|Joe Arden|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] as Malachi is next-level. He is Malachi. His voice, the emotion, the menace—it’s perfection. Heather Firth as Olivia brought such depth and vulnerability. The narration made the experience even more immersive (and chilling).

Now here’s the part where I start questioning my own morals: I loved Malachi. I rooted for him and Olivia. I don't know what that says about me, but here we are.
