It was okay? The writing style was a bit meh for me at times, and I don't like history info-dumps at periodic segments so--not the book for me I suppose.
It was fun to read, only in the sense that Sherlock Holmes is so iconographic that it felt as if I were finally catching up with something the world already knew. I might read A Study in Scarlet and Hound of the Baskervilles, but not for a while.

Boring, had to listen to a summary and skip a lot of parts because of how boring this book was, 2 stars just for the ending. Defo not for me lmfao I realised that. Seriously man the number of times I just fell asleep reading this is crazy... If youre not into Sherlock Holmes wouldn't recommend
Den här boken åldrades verkligen inte väl. Det är imperialism, rasism och sexism genom hela alltet och Watson är så osympatisk. Det enda ”underhållande” är Sherlocks kokainmissbruk, vilket egentligen mest är sorgligt.
