Imbalance picks up right where we left off at the end of the first book, after Ama and the princes were all transported away from the attack by AMA’s father. They all decide to try and find the rumoured city of hybrids to ask for help in the war.
Throughout the book, Ama gets closer to some of the princes while also being pushed away by some of the others (the miscommunication with Nico was killing me!

Omfg!! This series seems to be getting better and better every book. Huge character growth, relationship growth, twists and turns, hidden places and new mates. Ama is such a strong character. I Can't wait for the epic conclusion to this series. It's going to be bittersweet!! Ugh, I'm so emotionally invested in this series

This was so ooo good! The mates (well the originals anyway) are starting to come together. Not easily of course but we all have learning curves...except for Nico who needs a good nut punch. Anyway Ama manages to pick up 2 new mates - surprise! I'm not sure how to feel about J - still on the fence there but L woah! Talk about hot!!!!! I cannot wait to see how this is all going go play out cause dang!

I would highly recommend not reading any book of this series before bed, you will end up staying awake way too late to finish them.
Beginning where we left off in book 1, we are dragged right back into this world and thrown into the action. The revelations, questions, steam and twists and turns do not stop. I was able to guess a bit of the ending but I’m still dying to know how everything will fall into place.
The authors expanded this world even more, creating new areas and characters. The characters we were introduced to in book 1 continue to evolve as themselves and as a unit. Some characters you may like more than others but they are all likable in their own way. They are continually tested, both emotionally and physically, and must overcome these obstacles to fix what is broken and help create a better world.
Not only are they trying to fix and figure out what to do after book 1, the ending leaves a whole new set of problems that I cannot wait to see resolve.

I "devildamned" found this book to be annoying partly because of the word "devildamned" being used so frequently. It was annoying having to read all the time! Then it was annoying because I felt like no one had a real connection with each other. It seemed purely physical even if some said "I love you", it was hard to believe because they've only known each other for at most a week.
Instalove books annoy me but I wanted to give this series another chance but, although I'm a little curious, I won't continue this series because I just can't deal with these moments of heartfelt emotion because it didn't feel genuine to me.
But seriously, is she ever going to answer the question of who was in the room with her?? We'll just skim right over that little tidbit that never got answered to the very end. Kinda important to mention it instead of avoiding the question and automatically forgetting it was ever brought up.
