At first, the regular repetition of phrases was a bit jarring, but then it grew on me.  There was also a lull in the middle where it dragged but the last third of the book was positively action packed with everything coming to fruition.

Loved it loved it loved it loved it.

Read this for my AP Lit class and thought it was SO GOOD. Very challenging for me to read at first but after I got used to it and started to get invested I loved it!!

Some of my fav aspects were the allusions to the Bible and how that plays into dickens perception of the world. UGH I could talk ab it for so long istg. I love the characterizations. I think dickens does a pretty good job keeping characterizations consistent (except with Pross) and I think that adds a lot to the story.

Very hard to read. Everything is confusing and like a puzzle you have to put together with missing pieces. There are a lot of names that are all very similar and characters that are hard to tell apart. The only interesting thing that happens is in the last 100 pages. I would recommend looking up the spark notes summary and watching it rather than reading the book — it is way harder to read it.
