I was fairly excited for this book after reading “How Does It Feel?” However, this was hard to get through. I almost DNF’d, and I never do that. I pushed through, but I feel like it was a waste of time to have finished when I have so many other books on my TBR for this month.

First thing, the spelling/grammar errors were so terrible! Is there not an editor besides Microsoft Word? If there is, they need to be fired expeditiously. No hate to Jeneane, but I expect so much more from an author.

Second thing, what even happened? There was so much happening, but why/how? I feel like we got everything and nothing at all.

Whether I finish this series when the other books are released remains to be seen.

Info dumping, inconsistencies, and voyeurism... oh my!

As the second book in the Infatuated Fae series (the series title gets mentioned in this book!), What Did You Do? follows Caly as she travels to the Seelie realm to reunite with her "family:" the queen and Eli.
She's also hoping to be reunited with her heart.
As she spends more time with the Seelie royals, Caly discovers secrets, and people, that were meant to stay buried.

I felt there was too much info dumping in this novel that could've been spread out within book 1. I also find the characters lacking depth, as they are mainly created around shallow tropes (e.g., not like other girls, golden retriever, villain). There were some twists that caught me off guard and some things that disgusted me... just like the first book.

Was I the biggest fan of book 1? No. Was I really hoping this one would be better after that twist ending? Yes. Alas, it did not meet my expectations. Will I keep reading the next books just to see what happens? .... probably.
