really cool but really long. i was tired of just reading sometime just because the chapters were too long or the story was slow… but it’s still cool ! love Paige, love Arcturus (i called him grumpy the whole book lol)

I was torn on my rating for this one. I almost gave it 4 stars, but I settled on 3 because I still have a lot of questions about this world. I will continue the series and hopefully a few things will make more sense. This book was definitely intended as more of a setup. So I want to see how it goes.

OH MY GOD Samantha Shannon I adore you 😭 I found her books through the priory of the orange tree, and didn’t realize she had a whole other series going on until I saw something pop up about this 10th anniversary edit and reprint. I absolutely devoured this, and I am so excited to read the rest of these books. I do plan on waiting until the other rereleases come out later this year, and I am so glad that I found this universe.
