• Great integration of the legacy cameos (characters from the original Shatter Me series)
• It started out really strong, but pretty much once they reached Sector 45, I lost  a lot of interest- not a lot was really happening.
• The romance scenes (mostly just pining) were a little cringe to me and I just wanted to skip past them but luckily it didn’t feel like it was super heavily focused on that.
• It also feels weird to be reading from James’ POV as an adult lol.
• A decent read- not super great but not necessarily bad either.
• I dont think I’ll give up on this spin-off series; I’m hoping it was just more of a solid set up for the series and that we’ll get more from future books.
• Ends on a cliffhanger.

I feel like not a lot necessarily happened but it was a good introduction to the next chapter of this world and James and Rosabels characters and dynamics. Loved the old characters in this book 🫶
