Simplistic and a bit over the top at times -- but I suppose, that's the point. A few good insights from the psychiatrist. I expected Tteokbokki to play more of a role, but it was only mentioned a few times. The writing at the back after the psychiatrist's notes were better writing and more interesting than the majority of the book. Not what I expected.

I liked the essays at the end but this therapist just really doesn't seem good and I don't like the way it was written.

The ending really lost me unfortunately! Even though I really loved the reflective conversations

The ending meandered too much for me, and I began losing interest after the epilogue. I understand the main criticism that the audiobook's format is too redundant and repetitive to the point of annoyance/boredom. I also understand this is a story about someone's life, so I feel too harsh rating their work, but this was definitely not to my taste, and I don't think I'll read any other book by the author.
