I thought the first book in this series was carried entirely by the lore but this one actually ended out feeling pretty emotional compelling alongside some really interesting lore complications. Shout out to 343 guilty sparks you a real one

Rating: B+
I really enjoyed the found family dynamic of the Ace of Spades crew. They truly felt like they liked each other. Made 343 (the ai) and the Forerunner saga stuff enjoyable (in as much as it deals with the fallout of launching the Halo rings). Truly remarkable.
I forgot Geth gets iced in Halo 4 Spartan Ops.

A surprisingly good story set in the Halo universe. The characters are likable and the plot is straightforward. A good book if you are already invested in the Halo universe.
