Great start to a modern psychic series
Jon and Donovan are goals...simple as that. What a crazy psychic ride! Sweet but not too fluffy. Intrigue, laughs, staying away from all electronics is necessary, and a crazy mystery to boot! Loved it!

I wanted to like this more than I did. The premise sounded intriguing but the execution was a bit boring. Everything always got wrapped up with a nice pretty bow way too easily. Whether it be Jon’s cases or his relationship with Donovan, there was no real conflict to keep me interested. Also the writing felt more like “telling” rather than “showing”.

Loved this!
The hilarious blurb drew me in, and once I started I literally couldn’t put it down (much as I’ll regret that in the morning). Donovan was amazing - I love big, scary-looking guys that are teddy bears. He was so protective of Jon and just so perfect for him. Their families were fun, and I enjoyed the cases they worked on.
I had minor issues with the editing, especially jumping between past and present tense sometimes, but not enough to dock a star. I’ll still highly recommend this and will eagerly await more.

I've been putting off reading this baby (why, I've no Idea) but I'm so glad I finally got to it.
AJ Sherwood's writing is hilarious and I absolutely love her characters, especially grizzly bear Donovan. His protectiveness makes my heart flutter.
Time to head to book two!
Reread 11/20: The author finished the draft of book 4, so I figured it was time to reread this beauty. It was just as fun as the last time, and I still love Donovan's teddy bear tendencies.
