Absolutely love loved the world and its creatures, loved the magic system (different from other magic systems I’ve encountered and really cool) and just the scenery and vibes were totally incredible. I wanted to spend more time there!!
However, the main plot, the romance, and the character development all had pretty serious pacing issues and tone inconsistencies that had me like wtf very often throughout the book.
All in all I liked it well enough and will probably read the next one!

Dnf @ 83% I tried for the whole book but I genuinely didn’t care about the story or the plot
This book was hard for me to start reading. Especially in English as it’s not my native language. Because of the style she writes her book. But I’m glad I did even when a lot didn’t make sense. Language wise just used my e-reeder dictionary and story wise it got better after like 1/3rds in the story for me. And what a story it is. I love the immense world and all the characters and creatures ❤️
