I found it an enjoyable read and quite liked the characters (I have to say I am a bit partial to Florrie aka the Flea and was a bit disappointed with the ending of her storyline), the setting and the themes (the aftermath of the suffrage movement, the spread of fascism, the commentary on class difference etc.) but I am not so sure about the ending. I think it came a bit soon and did not feel quite right to me, or better said the events leading to it felt, to me at least, not quite in tune with the rest of the story.
