This was fun, though I question having the narrator being a cat. Other than the basic premise, they didn't seem cat-like at all, and knew way too much about humans to be believable. I did enjoy their picking up of slang throughout the years, but I still think the story would have been better served with a human ghost.

Very light reading, relaxing. Not rating more than a 3.0 given it’s a fluffy read. 🐱😹

I initially was enjoying this book. Seeing a cat travel through time to witness how humans have progressed, but remained the same can be an interesting subject. However, as the cat travelled closer and closer to modern times I started to notice the cat continue to do the "old man yells at clouds" thing, even though the narrator kept telling us the cat was becoming more nonjudgmental, he continued making judgmental comments about the people he witnessed. I don't know something about that character trait just rubbed me the wrong way. Hence why it's staying at 3 stars.

DID NOT FINISH: 52%

I just kept waiting for the SOMETHING to happen. Got 52% of the way through and decided to DNF the book.

What a great book told from the point of view of a cat
