DID NOT FINISH: 0%

Just really wasn't feeling this book - for such a short audiobook (5 hours, normally would have taken me a day to finish) - this wasn't keeping my attention and after trying to get into this book for a week straight. I'm giving up.
The premise of this book sounded great! Looking through like 120 years of history through the eyes of a ghost cat - observing what he observed sounds great... but there just wasn't any through line with the stories. The stories weren't cozy or emotional or really captivating. And the MC while cute because he was cat, just wasn't all that interesting.
Want to say though, this book did make me cry in the first chapter. So, it got a tad bit emotional for a page or 2. And maybe if I stuck through to the end, the ending would have made me cry again.

If you like historical fiction and are wanting something that has more historical roots but told through the lens of a cat, this would be for you.

This was good, well researched and cute, but there was little in common between the chapters and time periods, and while some of the chapters were great and had an insightful plot, others had no discernible reason.

This beautiful, wittystory is only short, but it is a gem
.It begins with the life of a rescued kitten but develops so many more and the lives that they  lead. This book can be informative or bring back memories of years gone by.
.Wonderfully written and I highly highly recommend. This book will leave you feeling so glad that you have read it. Thank you, Alex Howard please write another one.
