Fast paced story which is set in the Balkan Wars. I did enjoy it, it was hard to read at times due to the subject matter being so full of atrocities. 

Not sure I liked the ending...

This is the first novel I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it well written and it held my interest the whole way through. I read it in record time.
