It's surprising that I can actually like this series.
I mean, Light is annoying as fuck and the whole series is so sexist. There are barely any women in there and not a single one is either smart or stays alive or appears in more than one book... And the only one who does, well, her longest scene involves nude drawings of her in the shower.... -_-

I think I like the series just cuz I wanna see Light/Gary Stu fail and die in the end or something. We'll see. I agree that it went on way too long though, and it's becoming really implausible. x)
