Getting better... I absolutely love the continuity: events from the past tie in to the present and characters we thought were gone return. A creepy Kira-worshipper becomes an interesting new character, Misa becomes even dumber (which I thought was impossible), and Light displays some incredible game. Women everywhere beware.

- I like how Near plays with toys. It cracks me up, especially the finger puppets.

- Near seems like a reincarnated L. They should have just kept L.

- I think Light is getting in over his head. He is such an arrogant maniac! How is going to pull this off with everyone watching him?

- FINALLY!! It took the task force long enough to start putting 2 and 2 together!

- Light has a new girl, and Misa is going to go nuts!

Fan-freakin-tastic. I loveeeeee how complex everything continues to be, as new and old characters come together and the stakes are always staying incredibly high. Onward!!

Seeing how I loved the first half of this series, I think one of my problems with it now might be that it's gone on for too long. And I still miss the real L so there's also that.
