as NSW-native and avid public transport enthusiast, i cannot understate how anxious the mere THOUGHT of driving in sydney made me at multiple points throughout this book.

Set during a post-lockdown Sydney summer, two sisters in their twenties get into a right mess with their relationships. As they deal with break ups, betrayal, and possibilities, they grapple with their sense of themselves; who they are, how they are seen, and who they want to be. Seeing Other People takes more of an intimate view than Love and Virtue, but rings as true. For fans of Sally Rooney and an Australian setting.

This is a very boring story about two sisters that are only pretending to like each other, continuously make selfish decisions that actively sabotage their relationship, and then play victim.
