I really liked the story which is why I had to give it three stars but HATED the possessive nature of Brick. So if you like EXTREMELY possessive male characters, this is for you! If not, steer clear. It was not for me.

This book, while well written, drove me crazy.
Remi Honey, the strong FMC that everyone underestimates.
Brick, the emotionally stunted MMC.
Remi deserved so much better than Brick's hot and cold game where he would constantly draw her in and then do ANYTHING to get rid of her including marrying her high school best friend.
Also, if one more person blames Remi for their personal problems, I will fight them. I don't care that their fictional. The drama was probably used to make the story more interesting, but it just made me lose respect for the story and the author.

I enjoyed the plot and storyline. It took me a while to get interested into it but I enjoyed the ending.
