This was meh overall. It was really repetitive and was honestly a bit stupid to think they could ever keep that secret from her. The romance was nice, but i just thought the plot fell a bit flat and there wasn't really anywhere it could go.
This was a good book although a little frustrating to read. All of the characters are constantly assuming how others are feeling and how others would react to new revelations so there’s so much miscommunication and deception. The only person who seems in touch with their wants and feelings is Jonah who is also the most innocent party in the book. If there’s a lesson that can be learned from this book, it is that honesty is always the best policy. Don’t do things out of obligation and don’t settle because it’s easy. That only leads to misery and you’ll experience very little joy.

I cried about 10 times while reading this book.
It was rather close to me as I also had a baby too young and feel a lot of that Morgan does, though I didn't go through my husband having an affair with my sister and then dying
