It follows two POV’s - the 16 year old daughter Clara and the 34 year old mom Morgan. I was definitely into Morgan’s storyline more and kept wanting to know what was gonna happen. If it was just Morgan’s storyline, it probs could have been 5 stars. Clara’s storyline was very typical high school, so if it was just Clara’s storyline, it would have been 3 stars, so I’m settling on a 4 star rating.
Overall, it had its cute moments but nothing super memorable about it. I like the cast of the movie so I can’t wait to see it! Maybe I’ll wait until it’s out of the theater tho.

ik had me echt voorgesteld dat ik dit boek minder leuk zou vinden, maar ik heb me eig wel ge-enjoyed??? ik vond beide koppels in dut boek echt amaze, maar soms kon ik Clara niet uitstaan (sorry)

Decent book but the characters anger within the book was seeping into me and I didn’t like that. I read it because the movie is coming out but I think I’ll heavily skip watch the movie. Gramps was my favorite character.

I went into this book blind and I really had no idea what to expect. I love the dual point of view and I could really relate to both the mother and daughter during their POVs. The one thing that I HATED about the book is that she never read the letters…. I get it I get it but I’m too nosey I was waiting so long to read them! I wish we understood more how the affair happened cuz HOLY HELL YOUR WIFE’S SISTER?!? but overall it was a great book and I really enjoyed it
