A wonderful memoir of a young girl’s journey to young adulthood through her years of ice skating.

Really enjoyable insight into a girl growing up figure skating. I loved the exploration of identity. Lovely illustrations

I identified a lot with the author's story. The illustrations were very nice, and I appreciated the use of color. Overall a solid read.

I really enjoyed this! As someone who was a competitive dancer, I could relate to a few different aspects of a sport that takes a lot out of you, especially when you're not sure you even want to do it anymore. The ending really got me; there were a lot of things Walden said that resonated with me. I wish all the best for her, she deserves it.

An interesting memoir about the author’s experience with competitive ice skating and the things going on in her life that impacted her along the way. Overall, enjoyable and thoughtful. There could have been more reflection on themes, but from the author’s note it sounds like the author didn’t want to reflect on the themes of her life herself, which is fine.
