The premise of this book was hilarious and perfect, but the abstract writing style made it tough to get through. Ultimately, I did not finish it. I would have preferred a traditional narrative writing style--a lot of characters to keep track of, scenes that quickly moved between one another, etc made it difficult to track the actual story. However, it's the writing is clever and quite funny.

Questions after finishing this book:
1.) why do I keep reading Stephen graham jones books when I haven’t enjoyed it.
2.) why are the books so hyped. I keep reading his books trying to see it and I just don’t.
3.) why do men keep using the final girl concept? Why can’t a woman write a feminist final girl book. Men leave it for the women!
