I’m not totally sure how I feel about this book. It was unique and I liked the writing a lot, but it felt pretty esoteric. I enjoyed the characters, especially Tereza and Sabina, though.

Personally I found this a little disappointing... an interesting book in terms of a story told from a cultural standpoint so different from my own, but I struggled to connect with the characters and the philosophy being pushed.
