I won this book from Goodreads. I went out and found the first Dewey book after I was notified that I had won this one. Being a loyal cat lover I enjoyed both the Dewey books. I cried more than I planned, but enjoyed getting to know this super cool cat and also reading other people's stories about their best furry friends. Thanks, First Reads!
A few years ago, Vicki Myron wrote a book about Dewey, a cat who came to live in the library that she worked at. This book is not really a follow up per say. After the first book came out, Vicki began to get a lot of letters from fellow animal lovers telling of their own amazing creatures (mostly cats). Vicki included several stories about these cats and a few more about Dewey.
This is a perfect book for any animal lover. I definitely enjoyed the first book about Dewey but it's not necessary to read the book before this one.
