There aren’t really words for this book. Intensely horrific. A darkly imagistic first-person account of the systematic murdering of millions. A story of trampled innocence and irretrievable faith. Necessary reading.

A very moving account of one boy's experiences during the holocaust. Well written.

I listened to this on audiobook and it really hit home how observant the narrator was during his time in Auschwitz and Buchenwald. It made for a super interesting, harrowing listen.
