I truly love this series with my whole heart. However the first few chapters (each of the characters first pov’s) was just a recap of the previous two books which I found completely draining and annoying. I understand there needs to be a little bit of that, but good lord. I also haaaattteeee the incest of it all. Like I’m not going to root for this relationship idc you can’t make me. I don’t care that they’re not “technically” related, it’s weird!
YES. Go read this. RIGHT NOW!
This is probably one of my favorite trilogy’s, ever.
A lot of times the last book is disappointing, but this one was not at all- SO FANTASTIC

Okay, first of all... the Avery/Atlas plot was awful. Am I supposed to root for a spoiled teenager who, experiencing no affection from her parents, falls into an unhealthy obsession with her brother? I could, if the story was about her moving forward and finding healthy romance elsewhere and developing a normal sibling relationship with her brother. But that’s not what this was about. It was about an 18 year old’s destructive rampage of irrationality. The whole last tenth of the book was like lecturing those of us who aren’t incest fans on how ‘narrow-minded’ we are. Okay whatever. They aren’t actually related. But love, real romantic love, doesn’t grow from a sibling bond. That’s dysfunctional. Anyway. So Avery is the worst and her whole storyline should have died ages ago. Leda is the best character by far, and I cared about Watt basically just because of their romance. Rylin and Calliope’s stories just seemed to be about the Anderton boys and nothing else. So I was pretty bored. The first two were much much better.
These books are so addictive!! It’s basically Gossip Girl in the future!
2.5 stars.
How about we don't romanticize incest, kay?
