I hated all of it. Predictable, boring, characters are way too easy to hate and the confusions is literally impossible to fight off.

Surprisingly emotional and entertaining. Despite the fact that the characters are all the worst people I’ve ever encountered, I found the entire arc of the book relatively satisfying. I do wish that the mildly gothic/macabre elements of the novel were more present throughout, but who am I to complain about how spooky a book written hundreds of years ago is? Would revisit this novel again.
