Замечательное завершение истории! Порадовалась за всех героев. А какие милые экстры, полные любви и юмора! Прочитала в послесловии, что Прист считает свои новеллы этаким шариком сахарной ваты, который можно продать Диснею, и что она как автор хочет откомфортить читателя своими историями. И да, меня откомфортили по полной, чему я в этой истории очень рада. 
Мне понравился темп повествования, мироустройство, то, к чему герои пришли и что они делали. 
Отдельно хотелось бы отметить юмор этой новеллы, он тут прекрасен. 
А еще отметила для себя, что Прист не заморачивается с именами второстепенных персонажей и злодеев - они вроде и есть, а вроде и нет. 
В целом я очень довольна.

One of the best stories I have ever had the chance of reading. Gu Yun is an incredible character. Sha Po Lang is a story about love, yearning, and devotion. An amazing ride from start to finish. The extras are great! I really enjoyed reading about their life after the main events of the book. I’m so happy they got their happy ending in the end…

This was such a nice conclusion! Chang Geng’s political maneuvering and Gu Yun’s military strategy come together while they yearn for each other, and I love how we get out of character moments for both of them in the process.

When Gu Yun writes to Chang Geng that he just misses him and when Chang Geng finally cries…

The extras were also super cute, plenty of backstory for Gu Yun but of course my favorites were the ones about soft domestic family life following the war. ☺️
