This was a hard, sad read, but I loved the power of the human spirit in overcoming such tragic circumstances.

Great story. Just breaks my heart that humans could treat others like they did. We once said “never again” but recent activities show that that’s not true. Reading these stories should remind us that humans can be so very cruel to each other.

When the story puts you in a position where you can vividly see and understand that the people who were treated so unjustly had hopes and dreams for their life just like you do, it roots the hatred you have for inhumane treatment at another level. Heartbreaking and eye-opening, some aspects of this book is one that can be compared to some events that are occurring in the world as we speak.
All I can say is, don't allow your silence to be your advocacy. There are men, women, and children that need to hear your voices loud and clear, because their whispers aren't being heard. Be a voice for those who have lost theirs.

I enjoyed the story, although I had a hard time following it in the beginning.

Finished reading The Tattooist Of Auschwitz by Heather Morris. In some ways it's hard to tell whether or not this is 5-star writing, because this story is so amazing, and the fact it os true overshadows everything else. From page one I was wrapped up in the story, and the author certainly did it justice. 5 stars.
