Everywhere that Georgiana goes, death was sure to follow. While at a retreat to relax and refresh, the private detective finds herself thrown into work once again. She just can't catch a break. As usual, there are many a suspects. All with secrets. Since the crime takes place in the confounds of the resort, the suspects and crime scene are a little easier to contain. Everything takes place in the one location. (With the exception of some past events.) Since this takes place in a resort that is meant to refresh your mind and cleanse your soul, we get to see Georgiana in a slightly different way. She starts to open up a little more. Not a lot more, but a quick peek into her mind. There isn't really a big twist, but there are a few small surprising revelations, in addition to the big reveal. As is with the series, this is a 'clean' read. No sexual content, and no real violence. There is mention of suicide, talk of sexual relations (very vague,) and there is gun shots, but otherwise safe for teens and up. It reads quickly and easily. It's one of those mysteries that you really can't guess who dun-it. Well, might get a feeling about one suspect or another, but you won't be able to guess the how or why until it's revealed (even if you, as a reader, get the same info as Gigi the detective.) ;) While part of a series, this can be read as a stand alone without any troubles or spoilers.
