I tried to read The Color of Magic a few years ago and just couldn't get through it. After a valiant effort, I ended up DNFing it. So, when I came across this little collection of short stories by Pratchett, I was a little leery. However, I decided to give Pratchett another try and I'm glad I did. This collection of random stories was a lot of fun. I listened to the audio and there was a whole bunch of different narrators. I think that added to my enjoyment. If you enjoy fantasy, definitely give this little collection a try!

A collection of early short stories by Terry Pratchett, quite a few of these are Xmas themed so I think would be ideal to read in the run up to Christmas. I often don't get on with short story collections but I enjoyed this one, some of my favourites were How It All Began, The Haunted Steamroller and the Quest for the Keys.
