This was a super fast read and while I had some issues with it, overall I liked the message and I appreciated that the female friendship pulled through in the end. I also really loved the paragraphs before every chapter. Those were really fun and some of them were down-right pretty! Really cute read!

I've wanted to read this book for awhile now but I haven't had a chance until recently. I was attracted to the beautiful cover. It's red, it's got a dead girl on it and it's shiny. I didn't know this was the 3rd book in the series but I had no problems following the storyline.
So love is in the air at Hawthorne and Charlotte Usher along with her ghost friends are assigned to return to the living world to help the humans accomplish life-changing tasks. Charlotte is assigned to Damen, the guy she was in love with before her untimely death. Char's boyfriend Eric is assigned to Scarlet, Damen's girlfriend.
Scarlet struggles with her self identity and pushes Damen away. Eric has to help her find herself before she can accept Damen's love. Charlotte has to help Damen communicate with Scarlet as well as to resolve her own feelings of loss.
I liked all the quotes and inspiring passages in the book. Even though the book had a melancholic tone I still enjoyed reading it. Of course, everyone lived happily ever after in the end so happy tears were shed.

One of the awesomest series I have put my hands on. I could not stop reading. I love Tonya Hurley's writing style. She made me feel like a teenager all over again. I would give this 6 stars if I could!

I'm giving this a 3 to be fair, because I didn't get past page 84. I actually bought this at a dollar store, and because it was the third book in a series, I was confused as to what had happened and had no idea who any of the characters were. I told myself that if I read the first 75 pages and still felt confused and uninterested in the characters, I'd put this one aside. And so I did, through no fault of the author or her writing ability. Maybe if I'd read the first two books beforehand, I would have felt differently about this one, but as it is, I have too many books waiting on my TBR pile to slug my way through one that leaves me less than thrilled.
I'm disappointed with this book. It was largely irritating and it felt like a story that didn't need to be told. Petula's story was good as was Scarlet and Charlotte's continued friendship but that was about it. The ghost plot that should have been the most important thing doesn't pop up until the end and just feels like a sideplot and instead all you get is relationship drama that in this book was hard to care about.
Not a great end to a series at all.

It's was cute but I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as I did when I was younger.
